Foldable Office and Training Tables in Kenya

A training room that hosts a workshop on Monday, a board meeting on Wednesday and a staff lunch on Friday needs tables that change layout in minutes. Foldable tables do that: one person sets each one up in seconds, and when the room is needed empty they fold flat against a wall. We supply 1.2m, 1.5m and 1.8m foldable tables to offices, NGOs, training centres, churches and schools across Kenya.

Which Size for Which Room

The 1.2m table (120cm by 60cm) is the classic training table: two participants sit side by side with space for a laptop and notes each, and it doubles as an exam desk or a single home-office desk. The 1.5m table gives two people more elbow room or seats three in a tighter classroom layout. The 1.8m table suits boardroom-style setups, registration desks and exhibition stands, and it is the size to choose if you also serve meals in the same room.

Common Training Room Layouts

Classroom style, with tables in rows facing the front, fits the most people and works for lectures and exams. U-shape, with tables around three sides, helps discussion and lets the facilitator walk into the middle. Boardroom style joins tables into one large block for meetings of up to about 20 people. Cabaret style uses clusters of tables for group work. Because the tables fold and carry easily, the same set covers all four layouts. Our training room layout guide shows how many tables each layout needs.

Why Offices Choose Folding Tables Over Fixed Desks

Fixed office desks are cheaper per piece only if a room never changes use. Most Kenyan offices, NGOs and county departments run trainings, workshops, AGMs and staff events in the same space as day-to-day work. Folding tables let one room do all of these, and they store in a cupboard when not needed. The plastic tops wipe clean after tea breaks and lunches, and they do not swell if a cup spills, which is the usual failure of laminated chipboard desks.

Schools, Colleges and Exam Halls

Schools use 1.2m folding tables as exam desks in the hall, as dining tables, and for parents’ days and prize-giving. Seat one candidate per table for exams, or two per table for normal classwork. Tables fold flat and stack, so a hall can be cleared for assembly or sport in a few minutes. For large orders, schools can request a written bulk quotation for the board.

Ordering for Your Office or Training Centre

Tell us how many participants you train at once and which layouts you use, and we will suggest a number of tables and chairs. We deliver within Nairobi in about 3 hours, usually the same day, and you pay by cash or M-Pesa on delivery after checking every table. For companies and institutions we can provide a quotation before you order. Add folding chairs so the whole room packs away.
